Chicago Show; East Coast Radio Play; TV Documentary

Attention: Fans Needed for Show Saturday April 24 in Chicago!

It’s been a month of firsts for me with this whole semi-solo thing: first solo gig in New York; first gig in big room and The LC without Watershed; and now a “first” gig in Chicago for the Lonely Bones. We will perform as part of The International Pop Overthrow Festival Saturday April 24th at 9:30 sharp at The Spot. The I.P.O. is like speed dating for music fans so we are playing from 9:30-10 pm sharp so DO NOT be late and please help us spread the word.

The Spot is at 4437 North Broadway in Chicago.  For more info on The Spot click here.

So if you are like me, you are wondering “How is it possible that there is yet another music club in Chicago I have never been to?”  I actually researched this very question in my Watershed blog from 2005! Click here to read about that show and then scroll down to read about all everyplace we have played in Chicagoland through the years.

East Coast Fan Alert!

“Superior” is currently in rotation afternoons at WTMD Towson/Baltimore. We are frantically working to secure a date in the area while we have the hot hand. In the meantime, if you know anybody who lives in the area or want to listen in online, we need to support these cool stations that are supporting us!  Send them a message and let them know you appreciate it.

Speaking of super cool stations, how about the CD101 day show? We had a blast and would like to thank and congratulate CD101 for hosting a wildly successful evening of sold-out, indie rock n' roll. Please let them know you do too by requesting Superior over and over at dj@cd101.com; or text "request superior by Colin Gawel" to 68683; or just call and chat with the djs at (614) 221-1011. Thanks to Rachel for hosting us in the CD101 Big Room. (I think video for that is out on youtube somewhere also)

We have live video from the night posted on YouTube so check it out and tell a friend.

PS.  If you haven't seen the official music video for Superior yet, check it out here.  We're over 4,000 views and trying to get more every day.  Please pass it around.

Superior Featured in Documentary on WBNS TV10

Watch TV10 WBNS (CBS' affiliate in Columbus) is using "Superior" in a documentary that they will air this Wednesday (April 21) at 8:00PM (EST).  The documentary entitled "Central Ohio 2015" is part of their year-long "community visioning" project.  Tune in and enjoy.

That's all for now.  I know that I owe you a backward looking update on all the great stuff that has been happing over the past month, like impressions from the shows in New York and the CD101 Day; the article in the Columbus Dispatch; and the interview in 614 Magazine.  That's all coming, I promise, so please be patient.

In the meantime, thanks for your support and for letting your friends know about us.
